Ingredients
- 200 ml water
- 4 tbsp sugar or 3 tbsp maple syrup/ agave syrup
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 1 small chili pepper, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, pressed or finely chopped
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a small saucepan and bring to a boil while stirring.
- Let the sauce simmer for 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened.
