Sweet Chili Dip

This sweet and spicy dipping sauce is quick to make and pairs perfectly with crispy rice paper rolls, vegetables or finger food.

Ingredients

  • 200 ml water
  • 4 tbsp sugar or 3 tbsp maple syrup/ agave syrup
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 small chili pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, pressed or finely chopped

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a small saucepan and bring to a boil while stirring.
  • Let the sauce simmer for 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened.

Serving Suggestion

This sauce pairs especially well with crispy rice paper rolls, nuggets or roasted vegetables.
