Serving suggestion
Most dogs love this: before serving, add a small dollop of dog-friendly peanut butter on top (without xylitol, as it is toxic to dogs!).
Use peanut butter made from 100% peanuts without additional ingredients such as sugar or salt.
Notes
- Depending on your dog’s size, 1–2 muffins per day are usually enough as a snack.
- Do not use sugar, salt or artificial sweeteners in homemade dog treats.
- Stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator, the muffins will keep for about 4–5 days. Add the peanut butter only shortly before serving so the muffins do not become soft.
- The muffins can be frozen in a freezer bag for up to 3 months.
