Vietnamese Nuoc Cham Style Dip

Fresh, salty, slightly sweet and pleasantly spicy: this Vietnamese-inspired dipping sauce is quick to make and pairs perfectly with crispy rice paper rolls.

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp agave syrup or maple syrup

  • 1 garlic clove, chopped or pressed
  • Optional: small carrot, finely grated

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl.
  • For a smoother consistency, briefly blend or puree the sauce if desired.
